The best bets and resources to make you more profitable
Week 1 of the 2022-23 NFL season is almost here! The Buffalo Bills head to Los Angeles on Thursday, September 8 to take on the Rams.
In this betting preview, I’ll be sharing my best NFL parlay for Week 1. I have two sharp picks from the OddsJam Positive EV Betting Tool.
Leg 1 of my parlay is an OddsJam play for Sunday Night Football. We have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys. These teams matched up in Week 1 of the 2021-22 season as well, with the Bucs squeaking out a 31-29 victory. Brady threw for four touchdowns and 379 yards in this game.
Leg 2 of my parlay is for Monday Night Football: Broncos vs. Seahawks. Russell Wilson is heading back to Seattle for Week 1 of the season.
Both parlay picks are in the “Total Points” market. My parlay bet comes out to +264 odds (e.g. bet $100 to win $264 profit).

Tom Brady, 7 time Super Bowl champion, is set to miss a good chunk of the NFL preseason. There’s been some speculation about whether Brady will even play in Week 1. Bucs head coach Todd Bowles, however, expects Brady to be fully ready for the Bucs matchup against Dallas on September 11.
The Bucs finished last season with a 13-4 record and boasted a 7-1 record at home. They fell to the Los Angeles Rams 30-27 in the playoffs.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers win total for 2022-23 is set at over/under 10 games, with -110 juice on both sides of the market at DraftKings sportsbook. I don’t have any official picks or predictions for the Bucs win total, but I’d lean to bet the u10 wins at -110 odds.
The Dallas Cowboys are also coming off a strong season. They finished the 2021-22 season at 12-5, including a 7-2 record on the road.
The Dallas Cowboys season win total is set at over/under 10.5 games. The OddsJam betting experts Cowboys season prediction is leaning to bet the u10.5 season wins. Our experts like the Cowboys u10.5 wins at -130 odds on FanDuel sportsbook.
Tampa Bay is offered at -125 moneyline odds on PointsBet sportsbook, as well as a slew of other online bookmakers.
OddsJam has real-time NFL odds from 50+ online sportsbooks, including WynnBet & DraftKings. As a profitable sports bettor, it is critical to line shop and get the possible odds on all of your wagers. This is sports betting 101!
The sharp bet I have from OddsJam in this Week 1 matchup is u51 points at -110 odds. This is a Positive EV bet from OddsJam, and the value is clear. WynnBet is offering -110 odds on this play, and no other sportsbook is offering odds better than -124.
Most bookmakers have the total set at over/under 50 points. That extra point means all the difference. If the game finishes 31-20, for example, my bet on WynnBet will “push” (e.g. be refunded), but u50 wagers will lose. Getting an extra point in the total is huge.
I like the under a lot in the Bucs vs. Cowboys game on Sunday, September 11, and this is the first leg of my Week 1 NFL parlay.
Monday, September 12 at 8:20 p.m. ET
The next game I have an official Week 1 pick on is Broncos vs. Seahawks. This will be the first Monday Night Football game of the 2022-23 season.
The moneyline odds for Broncos vs. Seahawks can be seen in the screenshot below. The Broncos are best offered at -195 odds on DraftKings. The Seahawks are offered at +180 on a myriad of sportsbooks, including BetRivers.
In this game, my sharp bet from OddsJam is over 41 total points at -110 odds. Line movement has been taking the total higher, and I think there’s clear value in being able to grab the o41 points at -110 juice.
My official parlay pick is below. I locked this play in for $850, and my parlay bet for Week 1 comes out to +264 odds. I’m staking $850 to win a potential of $2, 244 in profit.
Week 1 NFL Parlay Pick: u51 Bucs vs. Cowboys, o41 Broncos vs. Seahawks (+264 on WynnBet)
