Pick #1: Peyton Battenfield Under 5.5 Strikeouts at +100 Odds on Fliff Sportsbook

My first betting pick for Wednesday, May 10 is in the Tigers vs Guardians game. First pitch is set for 1:10 pm EST.

I’m on Peyton Battenfield Under 5.5 Ks at +100 odds on Fliff, and I found this MLB player prop on the OddsJam Positive EV Betting Tool (pick in green/bold = profitable).

As seen in the screenshot above, the average price on Battenfield u5.5 Ks is -124 odds. Getting plus money (e.g. +100 odds) on Fliff is crazy value… Every other data point (e.g. sportsbook posting odds) has Battenfield’s under 5.5 Ks as the favored outcome.

The key to profitable sports betting is realizing that you’re not smarter than the market. Nobody is… As a sharp bettor, we’re looking for value & inefficiencies in the market.

I hit this MLB bet in a 2 pick parlay on Fliff sportsbook. I’m staking $250 to win $900.

My second parlay pick pick is an NBA bet. I’m on the Heat +5.0 point spread at -125 odds. This NBA pick was also found on the OddsJam Positive EV Betting Tool.

Pick #2: Over 9.5 Runs in Dodgers vs Brewers at +180 Odds on Fliff Sportsbook

My second MLB bet is also on Fliff sportsbook. I’m on over 9.5 runs in Dodgers vs Brewers. This baseball pick was also found on the OddsJam Positive EV Tool (bet in bold/green = profitable).

Value is all that matters if you’re trying to make money sports betting. Investors & day traders spend their entire day looking for value in the market. It’s no different in sports betting… It’s all about finding an “edge” (e.g. advantage).

What’s crazy about sports betting, though, is that you have dozens of sportsbooks setting lines independently (e.g. each book has different odds). Thus, you essentially have dozens of data points (e.g. sportsbooks posting odds) telling you exactly where a line should be set.

As seen in the screenshot above, Fliff is giving us the over 9.5 runs at +180 odds. No other sportsbook is offering this line above +164 odds. That’s clear value, lock it in!

My second parlay pick is the Astros -1.5 run line at +140 odds. This MLB pick was also found on the OddsJam Positive EV Betting Tool. I’m staking $100 to win $672 in this 2 pick MLB parlay.

Pick #3: Over 9.0 Runs in Tigers vs Guardians at +195 Odds on Fliff Sportsbook

My final MLB pick is for Guardians vs Tigers. I didn’t include this bet in a parlay, but I really love the value on it. I bet it straight.

I’m on over 9.0 runs in Tigers vs Guardians at +195 odds on Fliff. As seen in the screenshot above, no other sportsbook is offering this play better than +176 odds. The average price on the over 9.0 runs is +174 odds. Clear value…

I hit this MLB bet for $250. I’m staking $250 for a total payout of $737.50. If there’s exactly 9 runs in the game, then my MLB bet will push.
