Profitable Player Prop Picks for Monday MLB: Breaking Down 7 Games, including Yankees vs. Mariners

The first sharp prop bet I have is for the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles game on Monday, August 8. I have a pitching prop. I’m on Yusei Kikuchi over 4.5 strikeouts at -112 odds on FanDuel sportsbook.

Yusei Kikuchi is 4-5 on the season with a 4.86 ERA. In four of his last five games, he’s gone over 4.5 strikeouts. I think he’ll get the job done once again on Monday, August 8. This bet was Positive EV from OddsJam.

I’m not done yet, though. I have another player prop bet for the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore game on Monday, August 8! This time, it’s in the “Player Bases” market. Once again, my sharp MLB betting pick for 8/8/22 is on FanDuel sportsbook.

I’m on Danny Jansen to record 2+ total bases at +165 odds. I think that this is one of the best MLB props for Monday in the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles matchup.

Angels vs. Athletics Odds, Player Props & Sharp Picks

Next, we look to the California matchup: Los Angeles Angels vs. Oakland Athletics. I have another pitching prop bet in this game on Monday. I’m on Cole Irvin u4.5 strikeouts at -112 odds.

The betting odds for Cole Irvin under 4.5 strikeouts are above. FanDuel is the only online bookmaker offering better odds than -134. The Padres got swept against the Los Angeles Dodgers, losing each game by at least four runs. My prediction is that they’ll bounce at home against the Giants on Monday. I think that they’ll get the win on August 8.

I also think that Blake Snell will have a strong performance. As seen above, Snell over 7.5 strikeouts is +190 odds on FanDuel. This is insane value. No other sportsbook is giving odds above +100… It’s a must bet.

I locked in this player prop bet for $15 on FanDuel sportsbook. I think this is one of the top MLB plays for 8/8/2022.

Although it’s not technically a player prop, I’m also on the “Yes Run First Inning” (e.g. YRFI) in Giants vs. Padres. I bet this at +105 odds on DraftKings sportsbook.

YRFI bets are the opposite of NRFI. It simply means that 1+ run will be scored in the first inning. We have 6 outs to get at least one run, so let’s get it!

Yankees vs. Mariners Betting Odds, Player Prop Predictions

10:10 PM ET

Finally, we have the Yankees vs. Mariners game on August 8. The first bet I’m on is Aaron Judge 2+ Total Bases at +100 odds. I think that getting plus money on this player prop is amazing value.

As seen above, for Aaron Judge 2+ Total Bases, FanDuel is the only sportsbook offering odds better than -130. This value is crazy! I locked it in for the max I could on FanDuel, which was $60. My betslip is below.

I also have a pitching prop bet for the Yankees vs. Mariners game on Monday. I’m on Jameson Taillon under 5.5 strikeouts. This bet is on FanDuel sportsbook, and they only gave me a max wager of $34.80. Similar to all other MLB betting picks in this article, I was restricted on my maximum bet size. I guess the OddsJam Positive EV Betting Tool is beating up the sportsbooks pretty bad…

Of course, I still locked in this bet for the max I could. Jameson Taillon (10-2, 3.96 ERA) has gone under 5.5 strikeouts in three of his last five games. I think that the Seattle Mariners will be able to keep the ball in play against Taillon.
