Normally, a game between the Suns and the Warriors, the 1st and 3rd seeds in the west, respectively, would generate more excitement. But, the Steph Curry injury and Warriors struggles because of that injury, have dampened the mood a little bit. This is a home game for the Warriors, with the game being played Wednesday, March 30th at 10PM ET in the Chase Center.
I was surprised to the moneyline odds as low as they are. I was definitely expecting the Suns to be -200 or worse. There are so many accolades to give the Suns for how historically good they’ve been this season, but I’ll try to keep it brief.
They have the best record in the NBA by a country mile, have won 8 straight and are 9-1 in their last 10 games, oh, and by the way, they just got Chris Paul back from injury.
This isn’t a flukey regular season record for the Suns either – they are advanced analytics darlings as well.
On the Warriors side, I’ve written a ton about the bad luck they’ve had this season and how they are simply not the same team without Curry. All that stuff is still true, to be clear. They’ve lost 3 straight after beating the Heat in the game where the Heat bench almost fought each other.
Overall, since Steph got hurt they are 1-6, with some grotesque losses in there too. They’ve lost to 3 teams with losing records, and most recently were blown out by the Grizzlies by 28 points.
So, to summarize the analysis here: Suns = really good, Warriors = pretty bad (without Steph). Sometimes it is just that simple, and for that reason I am riding with the Suns moneyline here.
This is my favorite bet of the game, and I took it on BetRivers. The NBA has surprises every night, but I have a hard time seeing the Warriors winning this game. Maybe they keep it close in front of their home crowd, but the Suns are just too much.
Another bet I love in this game is the under. I was able to get the under at 225.5 on PointsBet using the NBA Odds Comparison tool while the OddsJam Perfect Line prices this total to be down at 224.
The Warriors struggle to score with Steph on the bench, and the Suns also happen to have one of the best defenses in the NBA. This is a Positive Expected Value play I got from the OddsJam +EV Betting Tool, and I absolutely love it.

Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns Predictions:
