Angels vs. Rangers Pick: Jaime Barria Over 3.5 Strikeouts | -110 at DraftKings

I had to go to DraftKings for this one but it should be noted that I couldn’t play it there. They would only let me bet $44 so I am waiting on the others to post. I’ve seen Barstool at 3.5 (-108) but they won’t even allow me to do $44. The point of all this is to say, we have to be patient in this game we play. At some point, some book that won’t limit us will post a line and we can hammer it. It will be glorious too. I can’t wait. But for all you people that can bet at Barstool and DraftKings, get down now.

This guy owes us all money. All of us. His last start was supposed to be the greatest bet of all time and he only fanned three Chicago Cubs. I still can’t believe it. Going into that game, Barria had only started twice and in both of those starts, he fanned six. In one of those games, he only needed 64 pitches. I think this guy has the dog in him. We can’t just quit him now. He probably had a bad meal, women problems, or maybe he was hungover for the Cubs game. Who really knows? I just know he’s not a 3.5 -110 guy. He demands more respect than that.

Tonight he’s getting the Texas Rangers and while they’re not a “strikeout” team, they still strike out. Over the last week, only two teams in MLB have struck out more than they have. That’s crazy. We’re talking 53 Ks in just 180 at bats. Tyler Anderson just got seven of them last night. He’s not even a strikeout guy. I’m not saying Barria is going to go 7+ (he could easily), but what I will say is that four Ks against this Rangers team tonight isn’t a lot. He could do it in the first inning. Feels right.
