I hope everyone had a good weekend! I found a great entry on PrizePicks to start the week off right.

If you haven’t signed up for PrizePicks yet, be sure to use promo code ‘ODDSJAM’ for a first deposit match up to $100.

Before we get into the entry, be sure to watch this video on how to make money on PrizePicks:

Pick #1: Luis Severino Under 16 Player Outs Recorded

I found this play on the OddsJam MLB Odds Screen.

Just take a look at the screenshot above. PrizePicks has set Severino’s line at 16 outs, while the entire rest of the market is down at 15.5.

That difference may not feel like a huge deal, but these discrepancies are how I profit long-term on PrizePicks.

If Severino gets pulled from the game with exactly 16 outs recorded, we push on PrizePicks while all other under bettors on other sportsbooks and DFS sites are losers.

The way that PrizePicks makes money is by assuming sports bettors have no “edge” (e.g. advantage). If you have no edge, then you’ll only be able to win your player prop over/unders 50% of the time. You’ll win 50% and lose 50% of your player prop picks – just like flipping a coin.

However, to make money on PrizePicks and be profitable long-term, you need to win at least 54.25% of your player prop over/under bets.

Edges like this that could turn losses into pushes are exactly what we need to hit above 54.25% and profit long-term.

The OddsJam MLB Odds Screen allows me to easily scan the market and find value on PrizePicks and every other sportsbook or DFS site to build slips like this.
