Pick #1: Jesús Luzardo Under 6.5 Strikeouts

I found this play using the OddsJam Positive EV tool and there is certainly some clear value on this one.

Take a look at the screenshot above. All the sportsbooks have his under 6.5 heavily favored. DraftKings is at -155 while Caesars is all the way up at -161. This means the books think it’s far more likely that Luzardo strikes out under 6.5 than over 6.5.

Follow the data. Since we are on a fixed payout platform where the implied odds are -113 regardless of if we take the over or the under, the sharp play is to take the under, which is our first pick in this entry.

As a sharp sports bettor, I am constantly using every sportsbook as a data point. In this case, we see a way better price than the rest of the market, so we hit the under.

In order to be profitable long-term at ParlayPlay, you need to be winning your bets more than 53.2% of the time. That can be difficult to do, so it’s important to bet with an edge, like we are doing in this example, to surpass that winning threshold.

Pick #2: Shane McClanahan Under 5.5 Strikeouts

This is another instance where the market is favoring the under for a strikeout prop. Both books there have the under in the -135 range, so we’re going to take advantage of the -113 implied odds on ParlayPlay.
