Connecticut Sun vs. Chicago Sun Pick: Sun Moneyline | +160 at DraftKings

In a series that has come down to close game after close game, the Game 4 blowout win by the Connecticut Sun very well may have been a momentum shift in this series. After the first three games ended with an average margin of victory of below six points, Game 4 went in favor of the Sun by a whopping 24 points. That margin of victory doesn’t fully indicate just how dominant the Sun were, as they took their foot off the gas and only scored 21 points in the fourth quarter (after winning each previous quarter with ease).

Going into this series, I was relatively confident that the Chicago Sky were the better team, and they may still be, but the Sun have momentum on their side and have proven that they can win both at home and on the road. While they’ll be visiting a hostile environment in Chicago and will have a crowd that is absolutely against them, I feel strongly that Tuesday night’s blowout victory was the turning point in this series and has opened up the Sun’s path to the WNBA Finals. 

With that being said, we’ll be taking the Connecticut Sun moneyline, available for +160 at DraftKings. They’re sizable underdogs in this matchup, with the Sky generally being seen as the superior team, but the Sun have momentum right now and are likely feeling invincible on their way to Chicago. Look for the Connecticut Sun to win this series, clinching Game 5 and making their way to the Finals.
