Ready for Wednesday’s slate of Wimbledon action? So are we. OddsJam’s tennis betting expert breaks down his pick and prediction for today below.

Dusan Lajovic vs. Alexander Bublik Betting Pick: Bublik -5.5 game spread | -135 at Caesars

Approx. 8 a.m. ET

This is a play directly from the OddsJam positive expected value page. Most other sportsbooks have this line around -155, so before diving into the actual pick there’s established value on Bublik -5.5 at Caesars.

Bublik dismantled his first round opponent, Márton Fucsovics, in straight sets by a score of 6-1, 6-2, 6-4. That adds up to a total game result of 18-7 which would have covered a 10.5 game spread.

Though Lajovic will be a tougher test in the second round, the Serbian is a little fortunate to be there. Lajovic lost the first set in his opening round match but evened the match with a second set victory.

There would be no third, fourth, or even fifth set as Lajovic’s opponent, Pablo Carreño Busta, was forced to retire in the middle of the match due to a leg injury.

Besides an easy first round win, Bublik came into Wimbledon hot, making the quarterfinals of his last tournament, the Eastbourne Invitational. On his way to the quarterfinals where he lost to No. 3 Taylor Fritz, Bublik defeated No. 7 Frances Tiafoe with a 6-0 win in the decisive final set.

Bublik will continue his recent success today with a routine win over Lajovic.
