Top Soccer Betting Picks This Week: Picks from Serie A, Eredivisie & Scottish Premiership

It’s that time again to find the best plays for this weekend. This has been our most profitable article because of the wide range of leagues. There is so much profit to be made in the lower leagues so here is my three favorites for the weekend.

Netherlands: Ajax vs. Vitesse Pick: Ajax to Nill | -130 at DraftKings

Wednesday, November 8 | 3 p.m. ET

Ajax are coming off a brutal 1-2 loss to PSV in which they dominated the match. They’re certainly going to want to get their top spot in the league back with this match in hand they have over PSV. Ajax have only allowed five goals at home this season and two came in the last match against PSV.

Vitesse are not as bad as their record indicates but are still pretty bad. They have been held scoreless in four out of last seven matches and that was nowhere near the level of competition of Ajax. Look for Ajax to control the entire match with ball possession and bag three-to-four goals.

Scotland: Motherwell vs. Celtic Pick: Celtic -1.5 | -140 at DraftKings

The kings of Scotland are back in domestic action, which is very important because we would be betting against them if it was a international match. Celtic have won seven straight domestic matches and are running away with the league.

They average 3+ goals a match on their own while allowing less than one. Motherwell are in for along day with their current form, as they have lost five of the past six matches and have not looked competitive in any of the losses. Their head-to-head matchups show that Motherwell are in for a long day with a 12:1 goal difference for Celtic in the past three matches. Look for Celtic to roll from start to finish.

Italy: Lazio vs. Monza Pick: Lazio -1 | -105 at DraftKings

Thursday, November 9 | 3:45 p.m. ET

This is the match of the weekend! Lazio are in a slugfest for a champion’s league spot. Six points is what separates 2nd to 8th on the Serie A table, so every match is important. Lazio are coming into this match 5-2-3 in their last 10 matches, which is not terrible but needs improvement if they want to climb the table.

This is more of a bet against Monza over betting for Lazio in this matchup. Monza are one of the worst away times in the league with four points in six matches and only five goals scored. I see this as a ball control 2-0 type of match for Lazio and Monza will continue to struggle on the road.
