Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League Predictions & Picks – Backing Two Star-Filled Rosters

Tuesday is Matchday 3 of Champions League action and we have another big slate on the cards. The groups are starting to take shape and it’s must-win for a couple teams if they have any hope of advancing. We have a couple of great matchups and some blow outs scheduled, so lets find some value.

Bayern Munich vs. Plzen Pick: Bayern -3 | -140 at DraftKings

The biggest mismatch on the day just took a turn. Muller and Kimmich are two Bayern superstars that are already ruled out, so it helps us with the line dropping from -3.5 to a much better -3. Bayern have already ran the gauntlet of Inter and Barcelona and came away with 6 points. Even though Bayern are missing some key players, the subs are still better than anything Plzen can put out there. Play with confidence here.

Liverpool vs. Rangers Pick: Liverpool First Half -1 | -115 at DraftKings

Liverpool becomes a different team when the champions league music hits at home.

It’s no secret that Liverpool have struggled in the premier league this season, sitting at a disappointing 9^th place after being a preseason favorite to win the title. This is one of those matches that seem like a Liverpool runaway win against an overmatched Rangers team.

The Rangers have been getting hammered in this tournament and have failed to score a goal in the first two matchups. I do not see any way that the Rangers can compete here. Look for Liverpool to be firing out of the gate.

Inter vs. Barcelona Pick: Barcelona ML | -120 at DraftKings

3 p.m. ET

This is the biggest matchup of the day with the most on the line for both teams in Group C. Both teams sit three points and the winner moves into the drivers seat for the No. 2 spot.

Barcelona looks to have figured out their early season problems and have been rolling. Their only loss on the year was against Bayern but they have all the talent in the world to get three points against a struggling Inter squad. Inter have dropped their last 3 out of 5 and much like Liverpool, they have been very disappointing domestically. If they do not want to start packing for Europa matches, they need at least a point here.
