It’s Matchday 5 of Champions League action and we have another big slate on the cards. The groups are starting to take shape and it’s must-win time for a couple of teams if they have any hope of advancing. We have a couple of great matchups and some blowouts scheduled so let’s find some value

The Rangers have been completely awful in the Champions League and I am sure they cannot wait for this match to just be over with.

In four matches this year, the Rangers have a 1:16 goal difference and 0 points. Yes, you read that right.

With as awful as the Rangers have been, they still have a small chance at Europa with Ajax only having 3 points in four matches but will have to get at least a point here. It will be tough to do against a Napoli side that has not lost at home in 25 straight matches.

Napoli have emerged as a sleeper to win the whole tournament. They are dominating Serie A and their attack is just as good as some of the biggest team names in the world. Napoli rolls in this one. I locked this in for +105 at DraftKings.

In the long run, this match really means nothing. Liverpool only needs 1 point to officially qualify and Ajax need 1 point to wrap up their Europa bid.

I fully expect a wide-open match and fun football since both have little to lose. The last head-to-head match saw Liverpool dominate the stat line but they needed an 89’ goal for a 2-1 win. Liverpool will want to push all match after getting shut out by Nottingham Forest in the upset of the week.

Ajax have 19 goals in the past three matches, while Liverpool have struggled with 3 goals in those same three matches. I feel that this will be back and forth all day with a push at worst. I locked this in for -145 at DraftKings.

Bayern vs. Barcelona Pick: Under 3.5 | Shop for the Best Odds Below!

Ok, hear me out. This match comes with an opt-out because I love the play with some factors. Barcelona are on the verge of going to Europa again, which is absolutely embarrassing given the size and resources of the club. This match will mean absolutely nothing if Inter Milan win the earlier match (-900 currently).

Barcelona are going to be fully aware of where they stand when they take the pitch and the outlook is not so good. Once Inter officially win (they will) this becomes a glorified friendly. Bayern will go through the motions to make sure no one gets injured and Barcelona will realize they are officially headed to Europa.

I love the under play here but only after Inter Milan wins the early match. I locked this in for -125 at DraftKings.
