Slop’s Locks: Packers vs. Raiders Monday Night Football

We’re about to make make so much money it feels illegal. The Green Bay Packers are headed to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders.

I have two absolute bangers that we can all be proud of.

Anyway, the first pick is as obvious as obvious can be.

Pick #1: Christian Watson Longest Reception Over 20.5 Yards | -110 at DraftKings

This is probably going to hit in the first quarter. Most likely on the first play of the game.

The haters are going to say that Watson only played 26 snaps last game and he should have caught more balls. None of that was his fault. It was his first game back from injury so the Packers were trying to ease him back in. You’ve got to respect that…they look out for their guys over there.

Watson only had two catches that game, but one of them went for 24 yards. That would’ve cashed this bet!

I get that the Raiders have given up the second-fewest passing yards in the NFL, but whatever. They still give up big plays. Each week, two opposing receivers have covered this number.

If there’s anybody on the planet that can do it tonight, it’s Christian Watson. I’d be shocked if it doesn’t happen on the first play of the game.

Now obviously we can’t just roll with Watson since he’s going to cash on the first play of the game. Then what are we supposed to do for the rest of the night?

Pick #2: Luke Musgrave Over 3.5 Receptions | +135 at DraftKings

This one is perfect. Musgrave left last game with a concussion but he logged a full week of practice so he’s good to go.

In the two games before last game, he played 85% of the snaps.

If he’s on the field, Jordan Love is going to find his tight end.

The Raiders might even be a team where we target tight ends. Three opposing tight ends have had season-highs in catches against this defense.

This actually feels pretty easy. Let’s go 2-0.
