Tyreek Hill Anytime Touchdown | +140 at Caesars

Despite Miami’s victory over the Buffalo Bills in Week 3, Tyreek Hill had a quiet game for his standards. The week before, however, he had 190 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Bengals secondary is far from great and is definitely not near as good as the Baltimore group he torched two weeks ago. The Bills did everything they could to schematically take Hill out of the game, which opened up room for Jaylen Waddle.

Getting Hill to score a touchdown at these high odds is a treat, particularly given he will likely be facing a lot of Eli Apple. Apple is one of the primary reasons the Bengals lost the Super Bowl, as he was unable to contain Cooper Kupp.

I like backing Hill here because of his game last week where he wasn’t much of an impact. He is not one to go back-to-back in the bad games category.

While Thursday Night Football Games typically lean toward the under, this total is very low given the amount of offensive firepower in this one.

The Bengals had one of the NFL’s elite offenses last season under Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Joe Mixin. The Dolphins, on the other hand, have one of the top receiving duos in the league in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

The injury to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is obviously the most concerning to this total, but he appears set to play as of Tuesday. In the case of Teddy Bridgewater starting, he is very capable of putting up points, particularly behind Miami’s skill position group.

The Bengals offense has not looked great to this point in the season, which has certainly impacted this total. Still, the talent is there to get it together. The Dolphins, on the other hand, have been explosive and I trust them to put up at least their half of the bargain.

Perhaps it’s a trap from Vegas, but I cannot get past this Dolphins moneyline being around the +170 range. Assuming Tagovailoa is able to play in this game, the Dolphins have been significantly better this season.

The Dolphins’ hype is building because of the caliber of teams they beat to get to 3-0. They’ve taken down the Patriots, Ravens and Bills to this point. They’re proving to be a legitimate contender behind first-year head coach Mike McDaniel.

The Bengals have been disappointing, losing to the lowly Steelers and Cowboys in their first two games. They had a bounce-back performance against the Jets last week, but that is far from a convincing victory.

If this line was lower, I’d lean toward the TNF home team, but +170 is too much to ignore.
