John Hyslop is here with his play of the day! Check out an NFL player prop bet he’s locking in for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Minnesota Vikings on September 10, 2023.

Buccaneers vs. Vikings Pick: Chris Godwin 60+ Receiving Yards | +120 at FanDuel

This one is best played at FanDuel and I’ll tell you why — every book on the planet has this guy at 56.5 receiving yards on Sunday. Go look for yourself. It’s right here on the OddsJam Screen. But for whatever reason, FanDuel has him at 52.5 receiving yards. Now the Positive EV Tool likes the 52.5 and so do I, but what I like better is a plus money banger. Since FanDuel allows us to ladder up, we can just go 60+ at +120. It’s the perfect crime. There is no chance this line will be available on Sunday so we need to move now.

  • If you don’t have access to the Positive EV Tool here at OddsJam, then you should get it. We’ll even let you use it for free for two weeks. On top of that, if you sign up before Monday and use promo code SLOP at checkout, you’ll be entered to win $1000 of my cash. Just click here and don’t forget to use promo code SLOP. It’s that easy.

The haters are going to say that this bet has no chance since Baker Mayfield is taking over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offense. They’re right about one thing, Chris Godwin’s production is going to take a hit. Obviously. But look at the number. We’re not asking this guy to go out and set a record. We’re talking about 60+ yards here. Godwin caught 104 balls last season and he wasn’t even active for two games. He’s legit. Godwin could get this number with you playing quarterback.

The thing is, this really isn’t totally about Godwin. This is more about the matchup and game script. I think Tampa Bay is going to get waxed on Sunday. We’re talking 2+ scores here people. So what happens when something like that happens, teams are forced to throw. Even if they have Baker Mayfield playing quarterback for them. And when Mayfield is throwing the ball, it will be against a defense that has given up the most receiving yards to the receiver position in each of the last two seasons. Feels right.
