Browns Announce Quarterback Deshaun Watson WILL Start First Preseason Game With Team

There is obviously a massive controversy surrounding Deshaun Watson and his pending suspension by the NFL.

As of right now, a judge has suspended Watson for the first six games of the NFL season. But, with that said, the NFL is appealing that suspension saying that Watson should, at a minimum, be suspended for an entire season.

Even with this all happening, the Browns announced today that they will, in fact, start Watson in their first preseason game this Friday, August 12th.

The Browns took some serious flack when they traded for and gave out the most lucrative contract in NFL history to Watson, who is dealing with some heinous allegations.

Despite all that, and the pending suspension, the Browns doubled down on Watson by announcing that he will start in their first preseason game against the Jaguars and that they will ride with him until his suspension is official.
