Today we are eyeing an NFC East Divisional matchup for our play of the day.

The Washington Commanders make the trip to Philadelphia for the first of two matchups this season and we’re looking to the Eagles star QB to have a statement game and his biggest of the 2023 season to date.

We’ve locked in Jalen Hurts to throw for over 1.5 touchdowns today and believe he is going to soar over this number.

The 2023 NFL season hasn’t been great to Hurts on an individual basis, but the Eagles are 3-0 to begin the year and haven’t even come close to hitting full stride which does not bode well for the rest of the NFC.

Hurts has thrown for three TDs this year. While failing to throw for more than one TD pass in a single game may not inspire a ton of confidence, take into consideration AJ Brown has yet to find the end zone and you have to imagine that ends sooner rather than later.

In 2022, Hurts suited up for 15 regular season games, covering our magic number today in eight of those 15 (53.33%) which isn’t jaw-dropping, but in two matchups against the Commanders he threw for three TDs in a 24-8 victory along with an additional two TDs in a shocking 32-21 loss in front of the Eagles faithful.

Today is the day. Today is the day the Eagles click on all cylinders and that is bad news for the Commanders who are going to be the unfortunate recipients of this beatdown coming their way. Hurts to the moon. Lock it in.
