Thursday Night Football

Eagles (-14) vs. Texans

Thursday, Nov. 2 | 8:15 p.m. ET

For the first time all season, the Eagles played a complete game and kept their foot on the pedal in the second half. They have still been great covering the spread (Eagles are 5-2 ATS), but they have gotten to that number with first half success.

Last week, against the Steelers, the Eagles continued to score in the second half and won by 22. This week, against a Texans team that has the worst rush defense in the NFL, according to DVOA, the Eagles should once again win by two or more touchdowns.

Eagles vs. Texans Pick: Eagles -13.5 | -110 at BetMGM

Early Sunday NFL Slate

Chargers (-3) vs. Falcons

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 1 p.m. ET

The nightmare season continues for the Chargers, who had a bye week last week but still lost CB J.C. Jackson for the season in their last game prior to the bye, and also WR Mike Williams for at least this game.

The Falcons are a surprising 4-4 with the ninth-best offense in the NFL, according to DVOA. They should be able to keep this close, if not win outright.

Chargers vs. Falcons Pick: Falcons +3.5 | -115 at PointsBet

Dolphins (-5) vs. Bears

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 1 p.m. ET

The Dolphins are going all in this season, with the blockbuster trade for DE Bradley Chubb this past week at the trade deadline. They hope Chubb can come in and help with their struggling defense that is seventh-worst in the NFL.

If the Dolphins can be even league average on defense, then they are going to be a scary team in the playoffs with how their offense is performing. The Bears have shown some signs of life on offense the past two weeks, but they won’t be able to slow down this Dolphins offense.

Dolphins vs. Bears Pick: Dolphins -4 | -110 at Tipico

Panthers vs. Bengals (-7)

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 1 p.m. ET

The Bengals just put up one of the most despicable offensive performances you’ll see all season, which happened to come on Monday night.

That was bad, but they had been rolling prior to that debacle. They have some concerning injuries on defense, but they bounce back at home.

Panthers vs. Bengals Pick: Bengals -7 | -110 at WynnBET

Packers (-3.5) vs. Lions

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 1 p.m. ET

Is it possible for both teams to lose this game? The Lions had a fun start to the season, but have now lost five straight and just fired their defensive backs coach.

Speaking of teams on a losing streak, the Packers aren’t far behind with four straight losses. The Lions seem to show the most fight when they are at home, so they should be able to keep this game close.

Packers vs. Lions Pick: Lions +3.5 | -110 at Caesars

Raiders (-1.5) vs. Jaguars

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 1 p.m. ET

Speaking of two teams who are struggling, let’s talk about the Raiders and the Jaguars. The Jags looked great to begin the season, but are now 2-6 and are also in the midst of a five game losing streak. Second year QB Trevor Lawrence specifically has struggled, currently ranked as the 32nd QB in the NFL according to PFF.

The Raiders, meanwhile, were just shut out last week against the Saints, a game in which QB Derek Carr only threw for 101 yards and was benched in the fourth quarter due to the blowout.

I don’t have a strong belief here, but I’ll lay the points with the Raiders.

Raiders vs. Jaguars Pick: Raiders -1 | -110 at Caesars

Colts vs. Patriots (-5.5)

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 1 p.m. ET

Oof. It’s a tough stretch here of games now with the Colts, another team in shambles, playing against the Pats. The Colts made a couple moves this week, trading away RB Nyheim Hines and firing their offensive coordinator.

The Patriots were able to beat the Jets last week, but that was not a remarkably impressive victory with Jets QB Zach Wilson gifting the Patriots interceptions with some of the worst throws you’ll ever see a QB make.

This game has a potential to be gross, which generally favors the underdog when it comes to the spread.

Colts vs. Patriots Pick: Colts +5.5 | -105 at PointsBet

Bills (-12) vs. Jets

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 1 p.m. ET

While the Jets defense is much better than I expected coming into the season, I am physically incapable of being more out on Zach Wilson as any semblance of a successful QB in the NFL.

The Bills beat the Packers by 10 last week, but somehow left that game somewhat disappointed after two second half interceptions from Josh Allen. The Jets might not be able to score 10 points in this one.

Bills vs. Jets Pick: Bills -12 | -107 at PointsBet

Vikings (-3.5) vs. Commanders

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 1 p.m. ET

Don’t look now, but the Commanders have now won three straight, two of which came with Taylor Heinicke at QB filling in for an injured Carson Wentz. They now sit at 4-4 and have wild card playoff hopes.

The Vikings, meanwhile, have won 5 straight and are 6-1, and also just made a splash trade for tight end T.J. Hockenson.

The Commanders defense has been playing much better in the recent weeks, and they have some fight with Heinicke at QB, unlike Wentz. They keep this one within a field goal.

Vikings vs. Commanders Pick: Commanders +3.5 | -107 at PointsBet

Late Afternoon Sunday Slate

Seahawks vs. Cardinals (-2)

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 4:05 p.m. ET

The Seahawks continue to be one of the biggest surprise teams in the NFL, who have the sole lead of the NFC West with a 5-3 record.

I don’t know what is more surprising, either: the fact that they have the 7th-best offense in the NFL with Geno Smith as their starting QB, or that their defense is all the way up to 11th-best! Their defense had been dreadful to start the season, but now has three impressive showings in a row, with some young players showing out.

The Cardinals continue to find ways to lose games, and I will continue to fade them as the season progresses.

Seahawks vs. Cardinals Pick: Seahawks +2.5 | -108 at Tipico

Rams vs. Buccaneers (-2.5)

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 4:25 p.m. ET

Ah, another battle of two disappointing teams. The Bucs and the Rams had won the last two Super Bowls, respectively, and entered this season with legitimate Super Bowl hope this season as well.

Instead, both enter November with a losing record. Both of these teams also had offensive line injuries derail their season. The biggest news coming into this game is the status of Rams All-Pro WR Cooper Kupp, who injured his ankle their last game.

As of right now, reports say Kupp is expected to play this week, so I’ll roll with the Rams. If his status changes, then that would obviously be a massive impact on the game.

Rams vs. Buccaneers Pick: Rams +3 | -114 at BetRivers

Sunday Night Football

Titans vs. Chiefs (-12.5)

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 8:20 p.m. ET

12.5 points feels like a lot for a Titans team that has now won five straight after their 0-2 start, but the biggest news for this game is who is going to be the starting QB for the Titans. Ryan Tannehill missed last week with an illness and ankle injury, and the team hasn’t offered any update on his status for this week.

Rookie Malik Willis started in Tannehills place, and only attempted 10 passes last week against the Texans who could not get anything going on offense nor could they stop Derek Henry.

Things won’t be so easy this week against the Chiefs. It is as simple as this: if Tannehill is out then I’ll gladly lay the points with the Chiefs, but if he plays then 12.5 points is too rich for my blood.

Titans vs. Chiefs Pick: Chiefs -12.5 | -107 at PointsBet (If Tannehill Misses)

Monday Night Football

Ravens (-2.5) vs. Saints

Sunday, Nov. 6 | 8:15 p.m. ET

The Saints are a hard team to get a read on. Just when you are ready to be fully out on them, they shut out the Raiders in one of the most dominating performances we’ve seen all season.

The Ravens, meanwhile, are having another injury-riddled season with WR Rashod Bateman, TE Mark Andrews, and RB Gus Edwards all leaving their last game with injuries. Bateman is confirmed out for this game, while Andrews and Edwards are considered “day-to-day” but status for this week specifically is up in the air.

Either way, I like the Saints in this matchup as the home team with the Ravens dealing with so many injuries.

Ravens vs. Saints Pick: Saints +3 | -115 at DraftKings
