Thursday Night Football

Ravens (-1.5) vs. Buccaneers

Thursday, Oct. 27 | 8:15 p.m. ET

Are there more than three good teams in the NFL? These two teams specifically were supposed to be good heading into the season, but the Ravens are 4-3 while the Bucs are an even more disappointing 3-4.

The Bucs’ record is especially egregious because in their last two games they were over a touchdown favorite in both, and managed to also lose both. The Ravens keep getting out to big leads but also keep blowing them.

I guess I’ll go with the team that can at least get out to leads, unlike the Bucs who are unable to do anything.

NFL In London Game

Broncos vs. Jaguars (-3)

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 9:30 a.m. ET

Oh no, we are sending Russell Wilson and the Broncos to London? Those poor fans are going to have an epic slop-fest to enjoy.

The Jaguars have now lost four straight after a promising 2-1 start, while the Broncos have been an utter disaster. I’ll take the team getting a field goal and apologize in advance to those Londoners who choose to attend this game.

Early Sunday NFL Slate

Panthers vs. Falcons (-4)

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 1 p.m. ET

The Panthers surprisingly took it to the Bucs last week, whereas the Falcons played a game in which their QB Marcos Mariota only threw the ball 13 times. Oh, and the Falcons were losing that ENTIRE game, too.

To throw the ball 13 times in a game in which you are down three scores pretty much the entire game is coaching malpractice. The Falcons have admittedly been better this season than I expected, but this spread is too rich for my blood. I’ll take the points with the Panthers.

Bears vs. Cowboys (-9.5)

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 1 p.m. ET

The Bears had a surprising victory on Monday night against the Patriots, a game in which they were roughly 8-point underdogs that they won 33-14. It was, by far, the best game of Justin Fields’ career as Chicago’s QB.

The Cowboys did get Dak Prescott back last week, but don’t let the final score of 24-6 fool you. The Cowboys struggled against the Lions. They were losing 6-3 at halftime and only managed to put points on the board because the Lions turned it over five times.

I’ll ride with the Bears to keep this one close.

Dolphins (-3) vs. Lions

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 1 p.m. ET

The Lions have now scored a combined 6 points in their last two games, and this comes after averaging 35 points in their first four games, too. It has been gross, but I do like their chances in this game.

The Dolphins did manage to win last week in Tua Tagovailoa’s return from a concussion, but they did not look sharp by any means. Tagovailoa had about 4 dropped interceptions that could have easily turned the tides in that game against the Steelers.

Dolphins vs. Lions Pick: Lions +3.5 | Shop for the Best Odds Below!

Cardinals vs. Vikings (-3.5)

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 1 p.m. ET

In an under-discussed story in the NFL, the Vikings are currently 5-1, with their only loss coming to the undefeated Eagles.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, finally showed some signs of life on offense in their last game on Thursday night against the Saints. With that said, they also lucked out with back-to-back interceptions returned for a touchdown at the end of the first half.

That isn’t exactly a winning formula that you can replicate, and I like this Vikings team.

Raiders (-1.5) vs. Saints

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 1 p.m. ET

The biggest factor in handicapping this game is simply who is going to be healthy for the Saints. They have been ravaged by injuries, but reinforcements could come this week as Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry, Marshon Lattimore and Jameis Winston could return.

The Lattimore injury specifically is a huge one to watch, as he will be matched up against Davante Adams.

The guess here is that the Saints will get those players back, so I’ll take the points with the home underdogs.

Raiders vs. Saints Pick: Saints +2 | Shop for the Best Odds Below!

Patriots (-2) vs. Jets

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 1 p.m. ET

The line on this game opened up at Patriots -3.5, but after their Monday night debacle, it has been bet down a point and a half.

With that said, I like them in this matchup. The Jets had been winning with their running game, but losing Breece Hall for the season is a devastating blow for them. Bill Belichick should have Jets QB Zach Wilson seeing ghosts, and the Patriots rebound.

Steelers vs. Eagles (-10.5)

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 1 p.m. ET

The battle of Pennsylvania! Steelers-Eagles matchups are normally fun, but the oddsmakers are not expecting a close game here.

The Eagles sit at 6-0 and are coming off their bye week, while the Steelers hung tough but lost last week to the Dolphins and are currently 2-5.

With that said, 10.5 points is too rich for my blood for an Eagles team that is content playing ball control offense once they build a lead and aren’t ones to run up the score.

Steelers vs. Eagles Pick: Steelers +11 | Shop for the Best Odds Below!

Late Afternoon Sunday Slate

Titans (-2) vs. Texans

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 4:05 p.m. ET

I was surprised the Titans are such low favorites in this one. They are in the midst of a four-game win streak, and we just saw the Texans get trounced by the Raiders.

This game specifically is a matchup nightmare for the Texans, who have the worst run defense in the entire NFL, according to DVOA, and now have to go up against Derrick Henry.

I’ll gladly lay the points with the Titans in this one.

I locked this in for +100 at Caesars.

Commanders vs. Colts (-3)

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 4:25 p.m. ET

I’m not sure the right team is favored here. The Commanders are on a two-game win streak, while the Colts just benched their starting QB Matt Ryan.

Ryan has admittedly been atrocious this season, but I’m not sure Sam Ehlinger is going to be any better considering how unproven he is. Ehlinger has yet to throw a pass in the NFL, which makes betting on the Colts scary.

Commanders vs. Colts Pick: Commanders +3 | Shop for the Best Odds Below!

49ers (-1) vs. Rams

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 4:25 p.m. ET

There is an interesting range of spreads here, with the 49ers at -1 and all the way to -2.5 depending on where you look.

Both of these teams entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations, but have been disappointing. The 49ers are now 3-4 after getting torched by the Chiefs last week, while the Rams are 3-3 and had their bye last week.

This is a tough game to handicap, but the value is on the Rams, so I’ll take the points with them.

49ers vs. Rams Pick: Rams +2 | Shop for the Best Odds Below!

Giants vs. Seahawks (-3)

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 4:25 p.m. ET

Man, the betting markets just keep underrating the Giants. They were 3-point underdogs last week against the Jaguars and won straight up. It doesn’t ever look that pretty, but the Giants just keep on winning, with a 6-1 record on the season.

The Seahawks are another team that is a pleasant surprise, sitting at 4-3 and leading the NFC West division, but I’m done doubting the Giants.

Sunday Night Football

Packers vs. Bills (-11)

Sunday, Oct. 30 | 8:20 p.m. ET

Well, this game was supposed to be a good one heading into the season, but the Packers have been a major disappointment with a 3-4 record. Not only are they 3-4, but they have also lost three straight to the Giants, the Jets and the Commanders. For the first time in his career, Aaron Rodgers is a double-digit underdog.

The Bills, meanwhile, are the best team in the NFL by a country mile that also happens to love blowing teams out. They are 5-1, and three of their wins have been by 20+ points. I’ll gladly lay the points with the Bills in what is my favorite play of the week.

Packers vs. Bills Pick: Bills -10.5 | Shop for the Best Odds Below!

Monday Night Football

Bengals (-3.5) vs. Browns

Monday, Oct. 31 | 8:15 p.m. ET

After a slow start to the season, the Bengals offense appears to be hitting its stride. They have scored 27+ points in four of their last five games, including a combined 65 in their last two.

On the other side of the field, the Browns have been doing the opposite. After a good start to the year, the Browns have now lost four straight and five of their last six.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow should continue to light it up in this one, going up against the Browns’ fifth-worst defense in the NFL, according to DVOA.

I locked this in for -115 at BetMGM.
