Early Christmas Eve NFL Slate
Falcons vs. Ravens (-7.5)
Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET
The Falcons admittedly stink, but this spread is simply too high. As bad as the Falcons are, they somehow manage to not get blown out.
Despite having a 5-9 record, they have only lost by multiple scores one time on the season.
Falcons vs. Ravens Pick: Falcons +8 | -113 at BetRivers
Lions (-3) vs. Panthers
Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET
The Lions are hot. They’ve won six of their last seven, and have a legitimate path to the playoffs after starting 1-6.
The Panthers just lost without much of a fight against the Steelers, so I’ll continue to ride with the fightin’ kneecaps.
Lions vs. Panthers Pick: Lions -2.5 | -107 at PointsBet
Bills (-9) vs. Bears
Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET
This game is expected to be played in extremely cold temperatures, as the current estimate for the “feels like” temperature for this game is -11°
Despite the Bills being worlds better, they are also the better passing team, so the cold weather should effect them slightly more. Also, the Bears are similar to the Falcons in that almost all of their 11 losses have been decided by one score.
Saints vs. Browns (-3)
Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET
The Saints won last week against the Falcons, but they have yet to win two games in a row this entire season.
The Browns, meanwhile, are fresh off a victory against the Ravens and become more dangerous as Deshaun Watson gets more reps.
Saints vs. Browns Pick: Browns -3 | -110 at FanDuel
Seahawks vs. Chiefs (-9)
Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET
The Seahawks are cratering. After a hot start, giving them a legitimate chance of winning their division, they have now lost four of five, with three of those losses against bad teams with losing records.
The Chiefs, meanwhile, slept-walked through their game last week against the Texans, needing OT to defeat the one win team. I don’t project that to happen two games in a row, so I’ll lay the points with the Chiefs.
Seahawks vs. Chiefs Pick: Chiefs -9 | -108 at BetRivers
Giants vs. Vikings (-3)
Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET
What a wild weekend of football for these two teams. The Vikings managed to complete the biggest comeback in NFL history, beating the Colts after going down 33-0 at halftime.
The Giants, who had been in a rut, defeated their division rival Commanders on Sunday Night Football to close to guarantee their playoff chances.
Both of these teams loves to play close games, which makes taking the points with the Giants too enticing to pass up.
Giants vs. Vikings Pick: Giants +3.5 | -115 at BetMGM
Bengals (-3.5) vs. Patriots
Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET
The Bengals are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, while the Patriots just lost in one of the worst ways you can imagine.
With that said, I do like the Patriots to keep this close. This is another example in which the cold weather will effect the favorite, with this case being the Bengals and their explosive passing game.
Bengals vs. Patriots Pick: Patriots +3.5 | -108 at BetRivers
Texans vs. Titans (-5.5)
Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET
The Texans have played two powerhouses tough in a row, coming close to beating the Cowboys and Chiefs in back to back weeks. The Titans, meanwhile, are cratering, currently losers of four straight.
The Titans are also dealing with an injury to QB Ryan Tannehill, making his status for this game up in the air.
Texans vs. Titans Pick: Texans +6.5 | -107 at PointsBet
Late Christmas Eve NFL Slate
Commanders vs. 49ers (-7)
Saturday, Dec. 24 | 4:05 p.m. ET
Every week I want to doubt Brock Purdy and every week he continues to prove me wrong. I also fear for what this 49ers defense is going to do to Commanders QB Taylor Heinicke, who is a gun slinger capable of turning the ball over multiple times.
Commanders vs. 49ers Pick: 49ers -7 | -110 at Caesars
