FanDuel No Sweat Bet College Football Promo Pick

I’ve been waiting so long for college football and it’s finally back. I know we had a few games in Week Zero on Saturday, but those were just a light appetizer for this weekend.

There are a bunch of games tonight highlighted by Florida at Utah, but the first full slate is just two days away.

To get the season started, FanDuel sportsbook has a “No Sweat Bet” for college ball. It’s pretty simple – your first college football bet is insured up to $10. If your bet loses, then you get your $ back.

Promos are a marketing cost for sportsbooks, kind of like a restaurant giving out a free appetizer to get you in the door.

No Sweat Bet Pick: UTSA vs. Houston over 61.5 | +124 at FanDuel

Saturday, September 2 | 7 p.m. ET

I found this play on the OddsJam Positive Expected Value tool.

Just look at that screenshot above.

This bet is so good because of the odds that FanDuel is giving you. The “correct price” for this bet is +108 – that’s the average odds across 200+ sportsbooks. FanDuel is paying you more than you are supposed to get paid for placing this bet.

We found “value” in the market. DraftKings is all the way down at +104 and Fliff isn’t even plus money.

If you are consistently placing bets where you’re being paid more than you’re supposed to, you will win long term. FanDuel is right most of the time, but in this case, they made a mistake.

It happens – FanDuel has like 100,000 bets open and they make mistakes on a couple. That’s an opportunity for us as profitable bettors. The OddsJam Positive EV Tool scans the market (millions of data points a second) and finds the few places where books are making mistakes.

Let’s start off football season with a win!
