PrizePicks $10,000 Payout – Six Sharp Player Prop Picks for May 3

I have six sharp player prop picks on PrizePicks. If all six picks win, then we’ll profit $10,000. Sounds pretty good to me, so let’s get into it…

Pick #1: Robert Williams Over 7.0 Points in Celtics vs 76ers

My first player prop pick for May 3 is Robert Williams Over 7.0 Points. This NBA pick is for Game 2 of Celtics vs 76ers.

I found this player prop on the OddsJam NBA Screen. When I’m using the NBA Screen, I’m simply hunting for value (e.g. line discrepancies). Because all sportsbooks set lines independently (e.g. books have different odds from one another), we are looking for inefficiencies in the market as sharp sports bettors.

NBA Betting Odds

As seen in the screenshot above, PrizePicks is the only platform setting Robert Williams points over/under at 7.0. Every other platform, including Underdog Fantasy, has his line @ 7.5 points. Some sportsbooks, such as FanDuel, even have Williams favored to go over 7.5 points. FanDuel sportsbook has his over/under 7.5 points at -120/106, so the over 7.5 points is the “juiced” or favored outcome.

Long story short, PrizePicks is too low relative to every other data point (e.g. book posting odds), so we want to take the over 7.0 points for Robert Williams on PrizePicks. This is our first player prop pick with value for Wednesday, May 3.

Pick #2: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Under 10.0 Points in Suns vs Nuggets

My second NBA pick on PrizePicks is Caldwell-Pope under 10.0 points for Game 3 of Suns vs Nuggets. I also found this NBA prop using the OddsJam Screen.

OddsJam NBA Screen

As seen in the screenshot above, all other sportsbooks & fantasy sites have Caldwell-Pope’s line @ 9.5 points without much juice. Thus, PrizePicks has Caldwell Pope’s line too high – we want to take the under. Seriously, just follow the data!

Pick #3: Seth Lugo Over 4.5 Strikeouts in Padres vs Reds

My next player prop is in the MLB. There’s 16 MLB games on Wednesday, May 3, so there should be a lot of profitable baseball betting opportunities today.

I’m on Seth Lugo over 4.5 Ks in the Padres vs Reds game. Lugo has gone over 4.5 Ks in four of his last five games, and he’s averaging 5.2 strikeouts per game this season.

OddsJam Positive EV Tool

I found this MLB prop on the OddsJam Positive EV Tool. This betting tool is pretty simple to use – you just want to place the bet in bold that is highlighted in green (e.g. Seth Lugo Over 4.5 Ks on PrizePicks). There’s no fluff & no B.S. with the Positive EV Tool – it simply points out value in the market.

Since PrizePicks does NOT vary payouts based on you selecting over or under, the Positive EV Tool simply shows you lines on PrizePicks that sportsbooks have heavily favored.

In this example, Lugo’s over 4.5 Ks is heavily favored on all sportsbooks (average odds = -136). Thus, the sportsbooks are telling you that Lugo is a lot more likely to go over as opposed to under. Since PrizePicks is a fixed payout platform – doesn’t matter if you take over or under, your payout won’t change – you want to take Lugo’s over 4.5 Ks on PrizePicks. This is a very sharp MLB player prop to go with in your PrizePicks entry.

PrizePicks 6 Pick Flex Play for Wednesday, May 3

My final entry on PrizePicks can be seen above. I have six picks in my flex play, and I’m staking $400 to win $10,000 if all 6 picks win. My 6 picks are:

  1. Michael Porter Jr. Over 13.5 Points
  2. Seth Lugo Over 4.5 Strikeouts
  3. Andrew Heaney Over 5.5 Strikeouts
  4. Borna Coric Under 24.0 Games
  5. Robert Williams Over 7.0 Points
  6. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Under 10.0 Points

I think these are six of the best player prop picks on PrizePicks. I have tennis, MLB and NBA props in this PrizePicks entry.
