What’s more fun than betting on player props? That’s right, absolutely nothing.

In this betting preview, I’m going to take you through 5 sharp player prop picks that I’m on for tonight on Tuesday, May 2. I have both MLB and NBA player prop bets in my parlay.

As a sharp sports bettor, it’s critical to have numerous sportsbook accounts. It’s important to have numerous sportsbook accounts because all books set lines independently. Each book has different odds from one another. In sports betting, comparing odds from book to book is called line shopping.

NBA Odds

As seen in the screenshot above, the Miami Heat are +222 moneyline odds on Kutt sportsbook (e.g. staking $100 to win $222 in profit). On Unibet, the Heat are just +200 odds.

Why would you ever bet on the Heat on Unibet at +200 moneyline odds when you can get +222 odds on Kutt? It makes absolutely no sense. You’re getting a horrible “price” on Unibet at +200 – they’re essentially ripping you off by offering terrible odds below the rest of the market. This example showcases why it’s essential to have multiple sportsbook accounts. More = merrier. More sportsbooks = more profitable betting opportunities = more money in your pocket.

A new sportsbook that I signed up for recently is called No House Advantage (NHA). This platform works a bit differently than a traditional sportsbook. On No House Advantage, the payouts are fixed.

No House Advantage – 5 Picks with Insurance

By fixed payouts, I mean that NHA does NOT vary payouts based on the 5 picks you select. Any 5 pick entry with insurance will have the follow payout structure:

  1. 5/5 Picks correct = 12x Payout
  2. 4/5 Picks correct = 2.6 Payout

As seen in the screenshot below, it doesn’t matter if we change our No House Advantage entry to be all overs as opposed to unders – we’re still getting the exact same payout.

Since No House Advantage does not vary payouts based on you selecting overs (or unders), there’s a pretty simple strategy for beating them: find spots where sportsbooks have one side heavily favored.

For example, one sharp MLB bet that I went with for tonight is Anthony DeSclafani under 4.5 Ks. This play was available on No House Advantage.

As seen in the screenshot below from the OddsJam Positive EV Tool, all sportsbooks have DeSclafani’s under heavily favored (around -135 odds). FanDuel has the under juiced all the way down to -142 odds.

As sharp bettors, we treat each sportsbook as a data point. For Anthony DeSclafani, it’s clear that all major sportsbooks have him a lot more likely to go under as opposed to over. That’s why bookmakers have the under heavily juiced.

Plays like DeSclafani under 4.5 Ks are exactly what you’re looking for on No House Advantage. As explained in this tutorial video, you simply need to win above 53.22% of your player prop picks to be profitable on No House Advantage long-term.

If you win 55% of your player props on NHA, then you’ll make a lot of money on this platform long-term. If you’re only able to win 51% of your prop bets, then you’ll lose a lot of money long-term. It’s that simple.

No House Advantage Prop Bets

My No House Advantage entry is above. I’m staking $200 to win $2,400 if all 5 picks win. I have four MLB props, as well as one NBA bet in my entry. If I go 4/5 in this slip, I’ll still get a 2.6x payout (e.g. $520 in winnings).
