One bet I plan on making later that’s not on the Positive EV Page is the Jake Rogers First Plate Appearance Strikeout. Why isn’t it on the page? Because the line doesn’t exist yet. As soon as lineups are announced, the lines go up and that’s when the magic happens. You saw what we did yesterday with Taylor Walls. It was incredible. Everyone had a great time and stuffed their pockets full of cash. Some guys actually had cash falling out of their pockets. It was crazy.

I’d expect the same thing tonight with Jake Rogers. It should be noted that I love this guy. Seems like a great hang but if we’re being honest, he’s a free swinger. On the season, dude has fanned 107 times in just 292 at bats. He’s not afraid to swing the bat. His issue is, he’ll face Connor Phillips tonight and he basically throws two pitches, four-seam fastball and a sweeper. Rogers isn’t great against either of those two offerings. If I had to guess, I’d say Jake does the walk of shame after his first plate appearance. Feels right.
