The Marlins young rookie hurler Braxton Garrett has really been coming on strong as of late. In his last 3 games he has gone over 5.5 strikeouts easily, averaging 8.7 K’s over those 3 games.

One of those games he went double digit K’s with 11. His last start, which so happened to be against this same Reds team, he struck out 8 batters. Are we noticing a trend here? 

The Reds sure do like to strike out a lot. They have the 4th WORST K rate overall in the league. If you break it down even further, they are clocking in with the 5th MOST K’s over the last 15 days, and the 4th MOST K’s over the last 7 days.

They really struggle against lefties too, with the 3rd MOST K’s in all of baseball against them. 

So here we have a JP K prop special. A pitcher on an upward K trend against a team on a season long and recent upward K trend. We have a matchup here that checks all the JP K prop boxes and then some.

These are the matchups I just absolutely love to exploit. THIS right here is what gets that JP sense tingling! THAT is why they call me the #KpropKing?!

Soooooo…with ALL that being said, you know what we need to do right?! We need to HAMMER Braxton Garrett over 5.5 strikeouts against the Reds. It just feels like the right thing to do!
