Rays vs. Twins Pick: Taylor Walls 1st AB Strikeout | +? at FanDuel

We’re going to FanDuel for this thing but we’ll have to wait on lineups to be announced before we can bet it. That’s just how this market works. They don’t give you a price before they know if a guy is playing or not. Whatever.

Still, we need to know who we are targeting before lineups come out so here we are. It should also be noted that FanDuel is the best place for these things. They give you a number on EVERYONE in the lineup. Not just the notables. If you don’t have an account at FanDuel, get one here now.

  • Also, why not pick up a free two weeks of OddsJam tools? We’re talking free. Just click here, pick a plan and use promo code SLOP at checkout. When you do that, you’re on a two-week free trial. I’m telling you right now, you won’t ever want to go back. Feels easy.

It hit me when I woke up that it’s baseball or nothing today. Tomorrow too but let’s just get through today first. It’s not that I hate it, it’s just that I have football stuck in my brain now. When that happens, all I can think about is football.

Still, I powered through this morning and found something we can all be proud to bet tonight. They say “it takes a special man”, and damn it, that’s true. It wasn’t easy but as always, the First At Bat market at FanDuel will get us through these next couple days.

I don’t want to be mean to Taylor Walls but I think he’s going down swinging in his first at bat tonight. For starters, he’s facing Joe Ryan. We’re talking THE Joe Ryan here people. Ryan is going to use the four-seamer, splitter and slider against the lefties tonight and that’s an issue for Walls.

He can’t hit a splitter from a righty to save his life. On top of that, he’s never seen Ryan before so he’s likely to be shitting bricks his first time in the box. I hate to bet on a guy to fail but I don’t see another option here. Feels right (even though it feels wrong too).
