Rangers vs. White Sox Pick: Rangers F5 Moneyline | -108  at FanDuel

Happy Friday, I hope everyone has a good weekend! Let’s start the weekend with some MLB first five innings best bets! 

The first game on today’s best bets will be the Rangers taking a visit to Chicago to face the White Sox. The White Sox are coming into this series with back-to-back loses against the Dodgers and will be sending Davis Martin to the mound. 

Martin will be making his third career start and he may be running into trouble tonight. He fared well in his first start, only allowing 1 earned run, but that was against the Royals offense.

In his next matchup against the Rays, he allowed 4 runs and I expect him to do the same tonight. The Rangers offense has slowly been getting it together and I wouldn’t be surprised if they light up Martin. 

The Rangers will be starting Glenn Otto, who has been having a solid season going 2-1 on the road with a 2.57 ERA.

He hasn’t allowed more than 2 runs in his last four starts and I feel he will have a similar performance tonight. The White Sox are also missing Tim Anderson — a huge key to their offense. 

Look for Otto to pitch another solid game and for the Rangers to get some early runs on Martin to help us cash the F5 Rangers moneyline!

Dodgers vs. Giants Pick: Dodgers F5 Moneyline | -145 at BetMGM

10:15 p.m. ET 

Next up on today’s slate will be the late game between the Dodgers visiting the San Francisco Giants. The Giants are coming into this game losing two of three games to the Rockies, while the Dodgers have two straight wins against the White Sox. 

For tonight‘s pitching matchup, the Giants will be going with Jakob Junis. He is 1-0 at home on the season with a 3.27 ERA. He has been having a great season, only allowing 4 runs one time.

Tonight, he will have a tough matchup facing one of the best — if not the best — offenses in the league. I expect the Dodgers offense to stay hot today and for Junis to struggle. 

The Dodgers will start Walker Buehler and he has been struggling lately but still has a 1.67 ERA on the road. In his last five starts he has allowed 19 total runs.

That’s not common for Buehler, but he gets a favorable matchup tonight. If the Rockies just contained the Giants offense, I expect Buehler to shut them down and get back into form.
