This type of game prop is a betting market I’ve been studying and seeing great success with over the last few days. It’s very underrated and gives you great value. This prop is a wager on which team will record the most hits in their matchup against each other, however do note a “Tie” is a loss as it is offered in its own line. The Pirates are a pretty bad offensive team. Ranking 27th in Hits Per Game, this will be a challenging matchup for them. The Pirates are also one of the worst road teams in the MLB, ranking 4th worst in both Away Batting Average and Away Runs.

They have the 2nd worst amount of hits on the road in the league as well. Atlanta on the other hand, is rolling. They are looking for 8 straight wins tonight coming off a 13 run game. Atlanta ranks 12th in the MLB in Hits Per Game, and 5th in the MLB in hits at home. Opposing pitcher JT Brubaker has been allowing a ton of contact this season. He has allowed 5+ hits in four straight starts, including 8 hits in 4 IP in his previous outing.

In the past 5 games, Pittsburgh is averaging 6.8 hits per game while Atlanta is averaging 10.2 hits per game. Do note that three of those five games were played at Coors Field for Atlanta. This line and prop seems too good to be true and I’m ready to attack it tonight. Let’s cash yet another ticket.
