If you’re beginning to think I’m addicted to taking Orioles overs, you’re not alone. But if you pick your spots right, these have been my favorite MLB bets so far this season. Step 1 is being at home. Camden Yards is a great ball park for going long. Step 2 is find a hot hitting opponent. The Twins have scored five or more in seven of their last 8 games, and against good opponents. Step 3 is make sure none of the Aces are pitching. If Joe Ryan were starting, this would be crossed off the list immediately. Paddack and Wells are both very hittable so I have no issues going over on this one.

The two teams in New York are the hottest teams in the MLB right now. And any time you can ride the wave on a reasonable moneyline, you do it. I don’t hate the Mets moneyline tonight (which is actually giving even better odds) against the Braves either, but I’m leaning with the pitching advantage here. Through 4 starts, Jordan Montgomery has 15 Ks and an impressive 2.7 ERA. Ross Stripling is a solid starter but has been more hittable this season. This Yankees lineup has been hitting everyone recently, and hitting them hard. Ride the hot streak to a 6th consecutive win tonight, on the road.
