The Cubs started strong on the season with the series win over Milwaukee, and have a great chance to keep the momentum going against the Pirates. They faced one of the best pitching duos in the league and managed to hit well. They should have a much easier time against over-the-hump Jose Quintana who will face his old team with few familiar faces. Suzuki and Happhave been great and I expect some hits tonight, don’t be surprised if Wilson Contreras also comes out big in this one.
The Brewers have struggled in the first few games, but the shoe will drop eventually and we could catch an easy win here. The Orioles haven’t named the starter yet but it will most likely be Alex Wells on the mound. Yelich seems to be finding his bat back, which could be very dangerous for the offense. The Orioles just don’t have the firepower to keep up with the Brewers if they both play an average game. And the Brewers bullpen is too good to give up the kind of lead they should build against Wells.
