The Cardinals are sending Jack Flaherty to the mound and he will be making his second start of the season coming off an injury. In his first start against the Pirates, he only pitched three innings and gave up 2 earned runs on 3 hits.

Today will be his second start and the Brewers offense has been on and off all season so I expect him to minimize the damage. 

Chi Chi González gets the start for the Brewers and he will be making his third start of the season. It will be his season debut for the Brewers and he has been very hittable throughout his career.

In his two starts this season, he’s allowed 6 earned runs on 12 hits. The Cardinals have one of the best offenses in the league when they are all clicking and I expect Gonzalez to have trouble tonight.

On the mound for the Diamondbacks will be Zac Gallen and he has been their ace season. He has a 4-2 record with a 2.91 ERA and he gives the Diamondbacks the advantage on the mound tonight.

He will contain the Padres offense and shut them down tonight. Don’t be surprised if he doesn’t allow a single run. 

The Padres will be gone with Sean Manea and he’s been up and down all season with a home record of 2-2 with a 4.15 ERA. He has also allowed 10 home runs on the season and Diamondbacks have hitters who can surprise you and go yard. Look for him to struggle tonight and give up a few runs.
