This Monday morning features big news out of Baltimore with the Ravens extending Justin Tucker on a reported 4 year, $24 million dollar deal. An extension for Tucker that is well deserved. $17.5 million of the deal is guaranteed, which also comes with an $11.5 million signing bonus, per reports.

Despite still playing and as good as ever, Tucker has become a legendary kicker. He has numerous high leverage and long-distance game winning field goals, the most notable of which being the NFL record 66 yard game-winner against the Lions last year.

Tucker, who was an undrafted kicker out of Texas in 2012, is still only 32 years old. In his 10 year career he has accumulated countless accolades.

He is a 5 time first-team All-Pro (2013, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021), 2 time second-team All-Pro (2017, 2020) and 5 time Pro Bower (2013, 2016, 2019-2021.) He was also voted on the NFL 2010’s All-Decade Team.

Tucker has become a legitimate weapon for the Ravens for how reliable a kicker he has been his entire career, so it was smart of them to lock him up for another 4 years.
