Week 11 CFL Picks, Odds & Predictions: Back Roughriders and Stampeders

BC Lions vs Saskatchewan Roughriders: Roughriders +3 | -110 at FanDuel

The BC Lions did it again last week. The Lions and Nathan Rourke came back from a deficit in the 4th quarter to defeat the Stampeders on the road last week. Lucky Whitehead hauled in a huge catch to set the Lions up for the game winning field goal.

The Roughriders are coming off of a win against Edmonton on the road last week, after having a bye week the previous week. Cody Fajardo looked great and the defense only allowed 6 points in the second half after giving up 17 in the first half. The Roughriders got a huge boost from the special teams as well.

The Roughriders are back home this week to take on the Lions, who are playing their second road game in a row.  My power ratings make this game a pick’em. I will be taking the Roughriders here +3 on FanDuel. You can get +3.5 on Caesars, but I think the Roughriders can win this game outright.

However, we saw last week that every point matters when we had Calgary +1.5 and they went off as a one-point favorite and lost by a single point. Give me Cody Fajardo and the Roughriders +3 and an outright win.

Calgary Stampeders vs Toronto Argonauts Pick: Stampeders ML | -130 at FanDuel

Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell was not happy after the game last week against the BC Lions. Bo Levi Mitchell did not hold back in the press conference and pretty much called out everyone on the team for blowing that lead against the Lions.

“Everybody was terrible … and I’m not saying I was good, everybody out there,” Mitchell said after the game.

Mitchell will be ready to go this week and the rest of the Stampeders better be as well.

The Argos come into this game after a loss to the Hamilton Tiger Cats last week, and before playing Hamilton back-to-back after this game against Calgary.

Mitchell has been in this league for many years and I fully expect this team to come ready to play. I am taking the Stampeders on the moneyline in this game.

My power ratings have Calgary -2.5 in this game, which is what the line is. Ka’Deem Carey should be back in this game and I expect a heavy dose of him to get Calgary back to their winning ways. This is a very important game for Calgary in the west standings.
