UFC 277 begins on July 30, 2022, and they’re are a lot of big names on the card. Julianna Pena, Amanda Nunes, Brandon Moreno, Derrick Lewis and Kai-Kara France are all set to fight on 7/30/2022. In this betting preview, I’ll be giving out my top MMA betting picks for UFC 277.

Brandon Moreno vs Kai Kara-France Picks & Predictions

The first fight I’ll analyze in Moreno vs Kara-France. Moreno opened as a larger favorite, but lines have drifted towards Kara-France after bookmakers posted odds. The early action has come in on Kai Kara-France.

Brandon Moreno is currently best offer at -200 moneyline odds on either Caesars or BetMGM sportsbook. Kai Kara-France has the best moneyline price on DraftKings at +180 odds.

I think this fight will play off on the feet. Since their last fight, which Moreno won, both fighters have been a roll. Kai has won his last 3 fights and now boasts a 24-9 record in the UFC. He’s a versatile fighter, with 11 wins by TKO and 12 first round finishes.

I think Kai Kara-France gets the job done in the second fight against Moreno, and I locked in a big moneyline bet on Kara-France at +190 odds on Caesars sportsbook. Although I think this fight will be close, I believe Kara-France should be closer to +140 at best. I think the value close to the +200 is insane given how skilled Kai is as a fighter, and he’s only gotten better.

Amanda Nunes vs Julianna Pena Picks & Predictions

It’s a huge fight for Nunes and Pena. In fact, it’s a rematch. Julianna Pena shocked the world with a win against Amanda Nunes in their last bout. This could be the best WMMA fight of the year, so all UFC fans should tune in!

Pena and Nunes both have not fought since their last fight against one another. Pena’s ability to control Nunes in the first fight shocked the MMA world, and nobody predicted Pena’s submission.

Will it be different in the rematch? Can “The Lioness” prove she’s still the best WMMA fighter?

Although I believe Nunes is the better fighter, it’s hard to ignore the value on Pena moneyline. Julianna Pena is currently best offered at +240 odds on both Caesars and BetRivers sportsbook.

I don’t have a tracked pick on this fight for July 30 in UFC 277, but I do like the value in Pena at odds above +240. I’m holding off for now, but if I had to place a bet, I’d be on Pena moneyline at +240. The moneyline odds for this fight are below.

I don’t have an official tracked play, but I’d recommend going with Pavlovich moneyline at +100 odds on DraftKings sportsbook. The value at plus money is pretty insane in my opinion. Most sportsbooks have Pavlovich favored for crying out loud!
