Nevada Sports Betting – Where to Bet in Nevada
Nevada Sports Betting
Where to begin with sports betting in Nevada? Nevada’s sports betting history starts in the 1940s when it first became regulated by the state. Since then, they have enjoyed a monopoly on legal sports betting in the US; thanks to federal legislation banning the expansion of sports betting to further states.
However, that federal ban was struck down in 2018 by the US Supreme Court. While Nevada no longer has their monopoly, the state continues to be a leader in consumer options and innovation.
Nevada began to accept mobile sports betting in 2010 when the first sportsbook app was launched in the state. So far, there are a whopping 25 sportsbooks accepting mobile wagers.
