Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics

Right here though, let’s take an early look at a first basket prop.
This continues to be a most difficult series to predict. The Celtics were the best first-basket team in the regular season. In the Finals, however, they have won the tip four times but only scored the first basket once in this series.
Over the five games, five different guys have scored first. So based on this history, I still am going to lean Celtics to win the tip but I’m going to lean Warriors to score first based on what I’ve seen thus far.
My favorite Warriors option pick tonight will be Klay Thompson +750. I think “Game 6 Klay” will show up and try to get hot early. He took the first shot for the Warriors in Game 4 so I feel he is a good bet here.
My second favorite is Andrew Wiggins +800. He took the Warriors’ first shot in the first two games in this series, cashing once. His value is still really good here.

Right here though, let’s take an early look at a first basket prop!
This continues to be a weird series to predict. The Celtics have been the best first basket team in the regular season and won the tip three times, but only scored the first basket once in this series.
I still am going to lean Celtics to win the tip, but I’m going to lean Warriors to score first at home based on what I’ve seen thus far.
My favorite Warriors option pick continues to be Andrew Wiggins +850. He took the Warriors’ first shot in the first two games in this series, cashing once. His value is still really good here.
My longer shot favorite is Kevon Looney +1300. He didn’t start last game but quickly came off the bench to make an impact on the boards.
He cashed once in this series so he’s definitely worth a sprinkle. I’m unsure if he’ll start tonight, but he should. If he ends up not starting then I’d say Klay Thompson would be the next logical pick as he has been involved early in this series too.
NBA Finals Game 4 First Field Goal Prop Bets – June 10, 2022
Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics
9:00 p.m. ET
Happy Friday folks! Tonight, we have Game 4 of the NBA Finals!
If you aren’t already, please give me a follow on Twitter – @JPWVOH #FirstBasketKing … there you can follow along with all of my first basket picks and any other bets such as win margin bands and same game parlays. Right here though, let’s take an early look at a first basket prop.
This continues to be a difficult series to predict. Celtics lead the league in first baskets hitting in about 64% this year. Warriors are fairly ineffective early in games only hitting in about 36% of their games. Boston has won the tip twice but the Warriors have scored first in all 3 games.
I still am going to lean Celtics to win the tip tonight but will play both sides here again to balance out the risk.
My favorite Celtics option pick is Jaylen Brown +400 at BetMGM. He’s the current frontrunner for Finals MVP. Brown has taken the first shot for the Celtics in the last two games.
My favorite Warriors pick is Andrew Wiggins at +900 at DraftKings. He took the Warriors first shot in the first two games in this series, cashing once. He has actually taken the first shot in 8 out of the last 14 games. His value is really good here.

Right here though, let’s take an early look at a first basket prop.
This has been a tough series to predict.
The Celtics lead the league in first baskets, hitting in about 64% of their games this year. The Warriors are fairly ineffective early in games only hitting in about 36% of their games.
Boston won the tip in both Games 1 and 2, but Golden State scored first in both games after the Celtics had bad first possessions.
I still am going to lean Celtics to win the tip again, but let’s play both sides here. I feel Jayson Tatum +550 at FanDuel is a good play here once again. I think he’ll look to get hot early to spark a hot crowd at home.
My favorite Warriors pick is Andrew Wiggins +850 at FanDuel. He has taken the Warriors’ first shot in both games in this series, cashing once. He has actually taken the first shot in eight out of the last 13 games.
NBA Finals Game 2 First Field Goal Prop Bets – June 5, 2022
Boston Celtics vs. Golden State Warriors
8 p.m. ET
Happy Sunday everyone! Tonight, we have Game 2 of the NBA Finals!
If you aren’t already, please give me a follow on Twitter — @JPWVOH #FirstBasketKing. There, you can follow along with all of my first basket picks and any other bets — including win margin bands and same-game parlays.
Right here though, let’s take an early look at a first basket prop.
Well, I was right on with my pick of Jayson Tatum in Game 1 as he took the first two shots for the Celtics. He, unfortunately, just missed them, which allowed Steph Curry to hit before Tatum made his basket.
These teams faced off twice in the regular season with both the Celtics and Warriors each winning the tip once and each scoring first once.
The Celtics lead the league in first baskets, hitting in about 64% this year. The Warriors are fairly ineffective early in games, only hitting in about 35% of their games.
Boston won the tip in Game 1 so I’ll lean Celtics again here.
I still believe Jayson Tatum +600 is a good play here. Tatum did not have a great Game 1 and he’ll be looking to bounce back early tonight.
A nice second option pick is Al Horford — you can grab him at +1200 at Barstool or +1100 at FanDuel.
He was the main reason the Celtics caught fire in the fourth quarter of Game 1 to upset the Warriors — he could try to pick up right where he left off.
