Twins vs. Diamondbacks Betting Preview
9:40 p.m. ET
Happy Friday to you all! Let’s start our weekend right with a big MLB winner. Tonight’s article will be a bet on the Minnesota Twins’ showdown with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Tonight, the Twins will send out Devin Smeltzer, who rocks a 2.38 ERA on the year and is 3-0. Smeltzer is a left-handed pitcher, which is a good sign for the Twins because the Diamondbacks are one of the worst hitting teams against lefties.
Smeltzer is due for some regression, but I do not expect the Diamondbacks to expose him in this matchup.

The Diamondbacks will pitch their ace, Madison Bumgarner. I have made some money off Bumgarner this season, but I do not think he is due for a good outing tonight.
The Twins lineup has done pretty well against left-handed pitchers this year. Bumgarner has a 3.50 ERA on the year but is 2-6. He has given up 18 runs in his last five games, and I would not be surprised to see him struggle again tonight.
All in all, I believe the Minnesota Twins are a much better baseball team than the Diamondbacks. I feel they will have the batting lineup edge tonight, with the pitching being more of a wash. This line is not wide enough due to some of the success Bumgarner had earlier this year. Let’s go Twins!
