Rockies vs. Brewers Pick: Sal Frelick to hit Home Run | +900 at Caesars
We’re at Caesars for this thing because they are way out of pocket with Sal. We’re talking way out of pocket here people. Go look at FanDuel right now for this guy. He’s priced at +420 over there. Think about that for a second. He’s +420 at one book and +900 at another for the exact same bet. It just goes to show that these people can’t price dingers. They just can’t. And lastly, Caesars isn’t the only book that is a little wild on Frelick. DraftKings has +800, Fanatics has +780 and BetMGM has +700. The market is all over the place with this guy.
Here’s the thing about Sal Frelick, he’s not the biggest guy. You know something is up when one place has his height listed as 5’10” and another has it at 5’9″. That means he’s probably not even 5’8″. Lucky for us, you don’t have to be tall to hit dingers. Our guy Sal is walking, talking proof of that because he’s got three homers in just 45 at bats this season. Kid looks like a miniature version of Barry Bonds out there. But that’s only part of the reason we’re backing him today.
Obviously this is a day game in the middle of the week so we need to move on it. We can’t have these guys playing for nothing out there. But actual key to this whole thing is Chris Flexen. I actually think he likes dingers more than I do. He’s given up 15 already this season and he hasn’t even pitched 51 innings yet. I feel like we could take every Brewer in the lineup to hit a dinger and we’d profit. But for me I’m taking the guy that hits the four-seamer and cutter the best and that’s Frelick. Guy has .400 ISO on the four-seamer from righties and a .667 ISO on the cutter. He might lose multiple baseballs today. Feels right.
