We’re at DraftKings for this one which is how I got +136 for this thing. How did that happen? They have a 50% profit boost. Full disclosure, they would only let me bet $5 using the profit boost but whatever. Action is action. For me, this game we play isn’t even about the money (kind of). Point is, if you have a profit boost to use, today would be a great day to use it. Even if it severely limits what you bet. After all, it’s the All-Star Game we’re betting here. Be smart.

Here’s the thing, when I saw this line, I knew it was for us. We need something we can be proud of and I think the team total is the way to go. If we’re being honest (we are), I tried a dinger parlay at FanDuel and they wouldn’t even let me bet more than four guys.
Sure, $5 gets us $4500+ if Mookie, Shohei, Randy and JD all hit dingers but still. I think we should be getting more if something like that happened. We’re talking four guys to hit dingers in the All-Star Game here people. That would be incredible since it just doesn’t happen much. I want way more for actually calling the guys who do it.
On top of that, we should really become team total people after the all star break. I’m not saying we don’t bet dingers, we will always bet those, but maybe sprinkle in some team total stuff too. More is always better. Everyone knows that. And to start our team total journey, why not take the AL tonight? These guys have hit this number in three of the last four All-Star Games.
Looking through the lineup, they’ve got multiple Dinger Circle of Trust guys which is key. At the end of the day, we need something and what better way to get fired up for an All-Star Game than taking one of the team’s total over? Who are we kidding? This could be the greatest bet of all time. Feels right.
