Marlins vs. Cardinals Betting Preview

Happy hump day to you all! To start our week off, we will have a play on the Marlins and the Cardinals game. We are coming off an easy no-sweat winner with the Angels the other night and look to repeat that here.
The Marlins are not that good of a team, sitting at 33-40. The only positive they have going for them is their All-Star, Sandy Alcantara. Alcantara is 7-3 on the year with a 1.95 ERA and is on pace to be a front-runner for the CY Young award.

The thing I love about Alcantara is he is a competitor. Alcantara is coming off a poor performance against the Mets, and I think he will bounce back in a big way against the Cardinals. His team is trying to avoid the sweep, so expect a solid performance from Alcantara.
The Cardinals have been solid this year, sitting at 43-34. Tonight, they will go against Alcantara, whom two of the Cardinals’ top hitters have not performed well against.
Paul Goldschmidt has a .167 batting average with 12 bats, and Nolan Arenado has a .100 batting average with 10 bats against Alcantara. It will not surprise me if the Cardinals struggle to even score on Sandy in the first five innings.
The Marlins do not have a good bullpen, and we have seen Alcantara start to struggle when he gets later into the game, so I am sticking with the first five innings play tonight!
