St. Louis Cardinals vs. Philadelphia Phillies Betting Preview
The final game of a three game series will be aired on ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball”. This series has been very competitive, and I’m looking forward to another game of this sort.
St. Louis Cardinals
The Cardinals (44-36) have been proving themselves to be legitimate contenders this season. The young stud Nolan Gorman has been a critical piece of this offense. Arenado and Goldschmidt have been crushing, and the Cardinals rank 3rd in runs per game and 5th in hits per game.

Philadelphia Phillies
The Phillies (41-38) are another team that has shown glimpses of their true potential. Harper is currently injured, but their veterans and young players are stepping up big time. They have a ton of potent bats including Schwarber, Realmuto, Hoskins and Castellanos. This offense can put up 10 runs on any given day. This team is a couple rotation studs away from making legitimate noise in the NL East.
There are two great pitchers on the mound today between Wainwright and Wheeler, but two even stronger offenses. Both teams are tied 3rd in runs per game, rank top 10 in hits per game, and rank top 10 in team batting average. Wheeler has looked human lately, allowing 5 earned runs in his last 10.2 innings pitched.
Wainwright has as well, allowing 4+ earned runs in two of his last three starts. These lineups are very potent and loaded with superstars with long histories against these two veteran pitchers. The over has been doing well in these Sunday Night Baseball games and it looks great tonight. Lock it in!
