The Blue Jays have genuinely been struggling. They have dropped their last five games and could get swept by the Athletics today if they don’t figure it out.

The Athletics are one of the worst teams in MLB, so this is not a good look for the Blue Jays. The Blue Jays have given up 10 runs through the first two games while only allowing 11 hits. This should change today because Jose Berrios should not walk as many Athletics.
Berrios was supposed to be the ace for the Blue Jays this year, but he has not performed well. Today, he will have a chance to prove himself against a poor Athletics team and get some momentum going for the rest of the season.
The Athletics have been able to hold the Blue Jays bats to 4 runs in this series, which is a very successful sign for them. The Blue Jays are getting hits but are not capitalizing on them.
Today, I expect them to find success against James Kaprielian, who sports a 5.43 ERA on the year.
All in all, the Blue Jays are a much better team than the Athletics. The Athletics have no business sweeping the Blue Jays, so I am trusting the Blue Jays to bounce back in a big way today.
