Astros vs. Dodgers Bet: JP France Over 4.5 Strikeouts | +106 at FanDuel

We’re at FanDuel for this plus money banger because Caesars has 4.5 (-104). That doesn’t feel like the biggest difference but it really is. We’re going to make 1000+ bets in 2023 so that kind of difference adds up quick (math). If you can’t play at FanDuel, you’re in luck. DraftKings has this thing at +115 and BetMGM has +110. Neither one of those books are an option for me but if they were, I’d bet this over there.

Here’s the thing about JP France, he’s got one of the sweetest mustaches in MLB and he’s even got a little ink on his arm. He’s a beer gut away from being my favorite pitcher from a looks perspective. Pitching wise, I think we’ve figured this guy out. Bad at home, good on the road. Basically like a traveling salesman’s sex life. Lucky for us, he’s on the road tonight. In four career road starts, he’s gone 5+ in three of them. The only time he failed was when he only fanned three Chicago White Sox in his second career start. Probably not his fault.

Tonight he’s getting the Los Angeles Dodgers who just got big-boy’d last time out by Shohei Ohtani. They may have won the game but Ohtani whiffed 12 of them. The game before that, Reid Detmers sat eight of them down. Logan Webb got five of them the game before that. I could go on and on but you get the point. The Dodgers strike out. In fact, they strike out so much, if the psychos wanted to go 6+ (+255), I wouldn’t even try to talk them out of it. After all, it’s Friday night. Plus, this just feels right.
