Wyoming was a surprise addition to the legal sports betting lineup, completing their legalization in September 2021. Being the least populous state in the US, it’s not surprising that only 3 books have launched in the state; BetMGM, FanDuel, and DraftKings.
PointsBet has also been approved to operate in the state but has yet to launch. Wyoming’s sports betting law indicates that a minimum of 5 licenses are to be given out, assuming enough eligible applicants. So, we would expect a few more books should come online soon.
