One thing that gets too frustrating in the sports betting world is the fact that every sportsbook can independently set its own rules and scoring. That frustration can be even worse when it’s a DFS platform such as Underdog. If I’m ONLY betting parlays how do pushes grade? We’re going to go over that in this article.

Power Play
On Underdog you can either make a power play or an insurance play. In the power play, every leg must hit for it to win. If one of those legs is a push (tie), it is graded as follows:
5 Pick Power Play becomes a 4 Pick Power Play
4 Pick Power Play becomes a 3 Pick Power Play
3 Pick Power Play becomes a 2 Pick Power Play
If a push brings the total parlay down to only one leg then the bet is void and your wager is refunded.
The general odds for an Underdog power play are as follows:
5-Pick Power with 5 correct picks = 20x the entry fee
4-Pick Power with 4 correct picks = 10x the entry fee
3-Pick Power with 3 correct picks = 6x the entry fee
2-Pick Power with 2 correct picks = 3x the entry fee
Insurance
An insurance play becomes more complicated because some of the legs can lose and you can still get a payout. If an insurance play has a leg that is a push (tie), it is graded as follows:
