Bundesliga Bettings Odds, Picks & Predictions for Matchday 14: Bayern vs. Werder & Frankfurt vs. Hoffenheim

We have a very packed next 10 days as schedules are adjusted for the World Cup, including full slates Tuesday and Wednesday and again this weekend.

It’s a great week to be a fan because there are major matchups every day! Matchday 13 saw Union Berlin crash back to earth with a 5-0 loss to Leverkusen that has vaulted Bayern back to the top of the table. The biggest upset of the day belongs to Wolfsburg with a +275 winner against Mainz. The Bundesliga leader currently has 28 points and the sixth-place team has 22 — we still have a lot to figure out.

There is an evil rumor out there that Bayern does not play defense and this could not be further from the truth. Bayern have clean sheets in four of the last seven matches and a healthy Manuel Neuer will want to shine brightly before the World Cup.

The French duo of Dayot Upamecano and Benjamin Pavard will want to earn their places in the upcoming cup so I can see them earning a well-earned clean sheet against a mid-table Bremen side. While we can expect Bayern offense to continue to roll, it will be the defense getting us glory today. 

Bochum vs. Monchengladbach Pick: Monchengladbach Moneyline | -105 at DraftKings

It takes a lot to get me to back Monchengladbach so I hope you know this is real. Bochum continue to be one of the worst teams in the Bundesliga and have conceded the most goals in the league this year. They average less than 1 goal a match and have been held scoreless in two straight.

Gladbach have had struggles of their own, but they are coming off an impressive win over Stuttgart and will want to continue that form against a bottom opponent. Gladbach have won the last three head to head meetings and I see no reason why they do not make it four in a row here. 

Frankfurt vs. Hoffenheim Pick: Over 3 | -110 at DraftKings

Two of our favorite goal-scoring sides come together for a mid-week showdown so what could go wrong?

Frankfurt are in great goal-scoring form and providing some very entertaining matches. The last five Frankfurt matches have seen 3+ goals in every match with Frankfurt winning four out of those five.

The head-to-head matchups are even more impressive with the last six of seven matches cashing 3+ goals. These two teams love to slug it out against each other, look for another goal-fest today.
