The Rams will not play any of their starters tonight. Sean McVay does not believe in risking their health for the preseason. This does not mean to fade the Rams, in my opinion.
The Rams will start John Wolford at quarterback for the first half, and then Bryce Perkins will fill in for the second half. Perkins looked great last week against the Chargers, so I expect him to come out firing in the second half. Wolford has solid experience, so I expect him to have some success in the first half.
The Texans are coming off a 17-13 win last week against the Saints. The Saints’ offense played terribly or else the Texans lose that game. The Texans are expected to play their starters for a little more time tonight, but I do not expect anything crazy.
I think this line is too biased toward the Texans playing their starters. I love getting the points and expect this game to come down to the end.
