Cowboys vs. Giants Monday Night Football Sharp Picks

Monday, Sept. 26 | 8:15 p.m. ET

Over 39 | -110 at DraftKings

This game has a low total as a result of two low-scoring offenses from Week 2. Filling in for Dak Prescott is Cooper Rush, who found success in a home win against the Cincinnati Bengals last week.

On the other side of the ball is Daniel Jones for the Giants, who hasn’t had great production to this point but has limited his turnovers. In both of his games this season, he has failed to throw for more than 200 yards.

Despite these offensive deficiencies, I believe the total is too low to take the under. These two teams know each other very well and have been involved in many high-scoring affairs in their recent contests.

The re-emergence of Saquon Barkley is encouraging for the Giants offense to put up their end of this total. While his quarterback’s numbers aren’t overly impressive, fixing the turnover concerns for the G-Men has been a massive development for new head coach Brian DaBoll.

Look for both these teams to establish their solid ground attacks and push them over this total.

Cowboys Moneyline | Shop for the Best Line Below!

We should feel very grateful that the Giants’ 2-0 start to the season has afforded us this Cowboys moneyline at pick’em odds.

Dallas has won nine of the last 10 matchups between the two team, with the one loss coming in the last week of the 2020 regular season when Dak Prescott and other key starters were sidelined with season-ending injuries.

Cooper Rush, who is filling in for the injured Prescott, did enough last week to best last year’s AFC Champions in the Bengals. Cincy, despite struggles, has a significantly better roster than the Giants, which is another reason to back the Cowboys in this one.

The Cowboys defense is headlined by Defensive Player of the Year candidate Micah Parsons, who has had 2.0 sacks in both his games this year. We shouldn’t expect anything different against the Giants. The pass rush as a whole was dominant in Week 2, sacking Joe Burrow 6 times and constantly putting him under pressure.

The Giants O-line allowed 3 sacks last week to a Carolina Panthers team that does not feature the same type of talent that Dallas does. Perhaps the added pressure will force Daniel Jones into some of his turnover woes from last season.

Statistically, it seems foolish to bet on the Giants given their recent struggles against the Cowboys. Take the better team for pick’em odds and watch it cash.
