Sharp NFL Picks for Late Sunday Slate: 3 Predictions for Week 3, Including Packers vs. Buccaneers

We have three NFL picks for the 4 p.m. ET Sunday slate of Week 3 — I’ll be walking you through my sharp picks and predictions for these NFL matchups below.

Here are the sharp bets locked in from OddsJam — let’s make some money!

Packers vs. Buccaneers Pick: Packers Moneyline | Shop the Best Line Below!

We are being treated to quite the matchup in this Week 3 matchup between two of the best quarterbacks of all time. It doesn’t get any better than Tom Brady against Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers are slight underdogs here, but I believe they are the sharper pick. While Tom Brady is 2-0 against Aaron Rodgers since being in Tampa Bay, the Packers come into this game with the more complete team.

The Buccaneers offense has looked dreadful in the first two games of the season and will be going up against a very good Packers defense. Their offensive struggles could continue, especially given the one-game suspension for star wideout Mike Evans.

The Bucs are already thin at receiver without the likes of Chris Godwin and possibly Julio Jones. If the Bucs were struggling to score with those three, it could get ugly without any of them.

On the other hand, the Packers offense hasn’t been phenomenal, but they should be able to spread the ball around enough to play from ahead in this one. Look for the duo of Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon to carry the load in this one.

Falcons vs. Seahawks Pick: Falcons Moneyline | Shop for the Best Line Below!

It would appear the Seahawks are still riding off the high of their Week 1 Monday Night Football win. We are going to take advantage of that by betting on the moneyline of the better team.

Seattle has not scored an offensive touchdown since the first half of Week 1. They were shut out in the second half of the game against the Broncos and scored just one special teams touchdown in all of their Week 2 contest with the 49ers.

The Falcons are surprising underdogs here. While they are 0-2 and Seattle is 1-1, Atlanta has looked like a much better team. Yes, they did blow another embarrassing lead in Week 1. However, they had the talent to get that lead and subsequently almost came back to beat the Rams in Week 2.

Marcus Mariota and the Atlanta offense have proven they can score points, while Seattle’s has not. I love the Falcons here at plus odds.

Rams vs. Cardinals Pick: Cardinals +3.5 | -107 at BetRivers

This line has dramatically shifted in favor of the Cardinals since Sunday. If you were quick, you could have had the Cardinals at +5.5.

The Cardinals made a dramatic comeback against the Las Vegas Raiders and pulled a complete 180. They looked like 0-2 was certain until Kyler Murray took complete control of the contest. This week, they play a pivotal game in the NFC West.

The defending Super Bowl champions have not looked great so far this season. They were blown out at home by the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 and nearly allowed a 21-point comeback at home to the Atlanta Falcons. Their offense has not been as explosive without Odell Beckham Jr. and the defense has regressed sans Von Miller.

If the Cardinals have awoken into the team we saw in the second half on Sunday, they should at the very least cover the spread. Their defense looked significantly better after some personnel adjustments paired with the return of J.J. Watt. They’ve had success containing Cooper Kupp in the past, who appears to be the Rams’ only playmaking threat to this point.

Look for the Cardinals to cover and quite possibly win this game.
