Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was noticeably furious at training camp this weekend. What’s surprising is that Allen was angry with the Bills Mafia.
After practicing at St. John Fisher University on Sunday, the Buffalo team began to jog back into the locker room. Fans began throwing items at players, requesting autographs. To say the least, some fans got a little too carried away…
It started out as jerseys being thrown onto the field. However, some fans started hurling footballs at superstar players, including Stefon Diggs. As Josh Allen was jogging into the locker room, he was waving at fans. Out of nowhere, one fan drilled Allen in the groin with a football, which was still in its original cardboard packaging.
Allen was fuming. He called out the fan and made his anger known. The Bills superstar quarterback turned towards the fans yelling “disrespectful, disrespectful” and ran off the field. Allen could’ve gotten injured, so it makes sense that he was noticeably angry.
Fans didn’t learn their lesson, though. Stefon Diggs was bombarded with jerseys and footballs as he entered the locker room on Sunday. He stopped to sign a few but was quickly overwhelmed with the amount of jerseys thrown at him.
Fans need to treat athletes better! Some were clearly a little too excited for the upcoming season.
